Tasting note
Juste Macouba is an organic white rhum agricole from Rhum J.M, whose Fonds-Préville distillery sits at the foot of Mount Pelée in Martinique. It is a vintage bottling from the 2022 cane harvest, made from organically certified Canne Bleue cane, and carries the AOC Martinique appellation.
J.M distils in two copper Creole columns, in the tradition of Martinique rhum agricole, and this rum is bottled at 52.1%.
Nose. Freshly cut sugar cane, lime zest and a touch of aniseed.
Palate. Powerful, with citrus and white pepper. J.M sums up its profile as vegetal, floral and round.
The house pours it as a Ti' Macouba Bio: crush three lime wedges with a teaspoon of cane sugar in the glass, add 50ml of the rum, stir and top with ice. For more white rums, see our white rum collection.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
