Tasting note
Matusalem Gran Reserva 23 is the top of the Gran Reserva solera range, produced in the Dominican Republic.
Matusalem was founded in Santiago de Cuba in 1872 by the Camp brothers, who brought the Spanish solera system with them from the sherry trade. In a solera the rum is never fully drawn off, so each bottling is a fractional blend carrying a share of considerably older spirit. Production left Cuba with the family after 1959 and now takes place in the Dominican Republic. The 23 is the richest and most concentrated expression in the range.
Serve it neat or over a single large cube. This one is better sipped than mixed.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
