Tasting note
Matusalem Gran Reserva 15 is a solera-blended rum produced in the Dominican Republic under a brand founded in Cuba in 1872.
The Camp brothers set up Matusalem in Santiago de Cuba in 1872, bringing with them the solera method used for sherry and Spanish brandy: rather than emptying a cask, a fraction is drawn off and replaced from a younger one, so every bottling carries a proportion of much older spirit. The family left Cuba after 1959 and production moved eventually to the Dominican Republic, where the rum is made today. This is the entry point to the Gran Reserva line.
Good over a large ice cube, and it holds its own in a daiquiri or an old fashioned.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
