Tasting note
Christian Drouin's Hors d'Age is a blend of Calvados Pays d'Auge. It starts with bitter, bittersweet, sweet and sharp cider apples from the Pays d'Auge, double distilled in copper stills, and the Calvados is then aged for around eighteen years in small oak casks that previously held Calvados.
Those seasoned casks give refined, silky tannins along with floral and spicy notes. In the glass it is a flamboyant amber, with a complex, balanced bouquet in which fruit sits inside a frame of wood and spice. The palate is powerful and intense yet elegant, round and very long.

Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
