Tasting note
Hervé Seznec, a grower-producer at Quimper in Brittany, makes this Cornouaille cider at the Manoir du Kinkiz. Cornouaille is an AOP, produced under strict rules on terroir, cider apple varieties and method, and the cider must be approved by a tasting panel before it goes on sale; the numbered collar on each bottle is the proof. It is bottled at 5.5%.
Tasting. Golden orange, with a fine and generous mousse. The nose is fruity, floral and spicy. The palate starts supple, then broadens around a bittersweet core and leaves a pleasant freshness. It is made from 100% fermented apple juice.
Serving. Serve it chilled as an aperitif or alongside salads, fish and seafood. More bottles are in our cider collection.
