Tasting note
Fernando de Castilla Antique Pedro Ximenez is an old sweet sherry from sun-dried Pedro Ximenez grapes, made at the bodega in the Barrio de Santiago, Jerez.
The Antique PX is drawn from soleras of around twenty years, and it traces back to the bodega's earliest days. The grapes are dried in the sun before pressing until the sugars are so concentrated that fermentation almost stalls, and the wine then ages oxidatively for decades. The result is opaque, viscous and intensely sweet, but with the bitter-edged, treacly complexity that separates an old PX from a young one.
A small glass is enough. Serve it chilled after dinner, or pour it over ice cream.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
